There is no CCTV in heaven

About this game:

It is an abstract psychological horror visual novel, with no clear "plot".

I am sure that there are many possible interpretations of this game, and I am curious what yours is going to be like.

My interpretation is that it is about facing the Self. 

I am a neurodivergent person with some chronic illnesses, one of which is one of the many forms of Long COVID. This game draws from the way my brain and body work.

When I saw the poll for the Fediverse Jam themes and its results, I immediately became inspired and decided to try to include all of the themes, one way or another. But the most prominent theme is clouds, and what is above them. The theme is implemented in an abstract and metaphorical way. The words "sky", "heaven" and "clouds" repeat all over in different places of the text. The theme is also present in the visuals.

The game has 6 different endings, one of them is somewhat hidden.

The playthrough of one "route" can take anywhere from 5 minutes to about half an hour.

Accessibility: 

Visually impaired or screen reader users should be able to play this game. The self voicing feature built into RenPy works as intended. The visuals of the game are quite abstract and mostly serve to amplify the mood. I added alt text that is written in a similar style to the rest of the game. The alt text describes the general vibes and my artistic intent rather than being literal descriptions.

This game does not contain explicit or graphic material, but it might creep you out, make you feel sad, confused, unsettled, drowsy or all of the above, so you probably should not play it while at work. It also contains intense eye contact.

- one photo of trees made by my friend Ethiel, 

- the image of the "autorefractor barn".
